The consumption of foods that are high in potassium and magnesium, which play a major role in heart and bone health, is also very important. Potassium can be usually found in fruits and vegetables, such as oranges, bananas, carrots, and broccoli, while magnesium is present in dairy products, potatoes, nuts and some fish.
